These terms cover reserving a username on Potluck before the site opens. By reserving one, you agree to them.
What you get
- A reserved username for your Potluck account when the site opens. It is free.
- One username per email address.
- A reservation counts only once you click the link we email you. Until then the name is held for 30 minutes, then it is free again.
- We have not set an opening date yet, and we can't promise one.
Rules for usernames
A username may not:
- pretend to be another person, brand or company, including well-known traders;
- be offensive, hateful or sexual;
- use someone else's trademark;
- suggest you work for Potluck when you don't.
We can remove or change a username that breaks these rules, and give it to its rightful owner. We may also release reserved names that are never used after Potluck opens; if we do, we will tell you by email first.
Not investment advice
Potluck is a research tool for testing trading strategies on past prices. Nothing on Potluck is financial or investment advice, and past results don't predict future ones.
No guarantees
We offer the waitlist as it is. We may change it, pause it or close it. If we close it before the site opens, we will delete the emails we hold. As far as the law allows, we are not responsible for any loss from using the waitlist.
Age
You must be 13 or older to reserve a username.
Changes
If we change these terms, we will update this page and its date. If the change matters for your reservation, we will email you.
